Alcohol infused tinctures can last up to 5 years as long as they are stored correctly, in a cool dry place away from any sunlight.

2. How long do herbal non alcohol infused tinctures last?

Non-alcohol infused tinctures can last up to 3 years as long as they are stored correctly, in a cool dry place away from any sunlight.

3. What's the difference between the two bases?

Both bases have the same potency when it comes to the strength of the herbal extract. We like to offer our customers a choice between the two if they do not like alcohol or can't consume alcohol. Both of the extracts are as effective as the other. The alcohol-free base is a little thicker consistency than the alcohol base.

4. Can this also be used topically?

Sure it can! We recommend the alcohol-free base as it helps against drying of skin that an alcohol base can cause. We recommend to patch testing first because it will help you to be sure that you can safely use a new skincare product.

5. Does the tincture need to be refrigerated?

Typically no, they don't need to be refrigerated since they have natural preservatives (alcohol or glycerin). However if you are planning to keep it for over a year or more we like to recommend refrigerating after its been opened to keep it as fresh and potent as possible.
